Seda had a second name–Haykanush – in her birth certificate. This was due to a historic meeting between Toumanian and General Andranik that took place before the girl’s birth. Seda graduated to the Faculty of Agriculture of Yerevan State University and received the specialization of biologist. Afterwards she took a course as an X-Ray technician in Yessentuki. Seda married Doctor Rouben Safrasbekian by whom she had one daughter – Irma. Seda’s husband was arrested by the soviet government at the beginning of the WWII. He was rehabilitated in 1955. Later Seda married Georgi Perikhanian. Seda was actively involved in moving the furniture and goods from Tiflis apartment to Yerevan and arranging the memorial rooms of the Museum. She has translated a book by Paul de Kruif "The Microbe Hunters" about Koch, Pasteur and Mechnikov.
