The source comes from the people. Toumanian used both Armenian and foreign sources.  After editing “The End of The Wicked”, Toumanian came up with a new song – “The Nestless Cuckoo”.

THERE was a mountain,
With a tree upon it,
That had a hollow in it,
Which had a nest in it,
With tree chicks in it,
And a Cuckoo upon it.
